Harry Lampeter and the Turing Engine is FREE to download this weekend

Image
Harry Lampeter and the Turing Engine Book 3 of the Harry Lampeter series is FREE to download I'd appreciate a review if you enjoy it Renegade patriot Harry Lampeter is called back into service by MI6 The Franco-German alliance has occupied the island of Guernsey and plans to invade England. They try to pass their action off as a peacekeeping operation but they have built steam launchers for their flying bombs, high altitude observation balloons for targeting, and Big Bertha, an enormous gun sited on the French coast that can bombard London. But all this activity is a smoke screen intended to hide their real intentions, an invasion from a completely different and unexpected direction. Harry, with the help of the Brigadier, Ms Rigby, Shaky Tom and erotic dancers Emma and Elsa are called to play their part in saving Albion. Even Mr Tze Lim’s Chinese Magic Lantern Show with its cornucopia of ‘Bare-naked Ladies’ has a role to play. Link to Amazon UK Link to Amazon US

Riding my Cross Training machine - Seinfeld

Image
Most mornings I ride my cross training machine for twenty minutes. I like to watch a long series while I exercise. Over the years I've watched:: 3rd Rock from the Sun, Breaking Bad, Northern Exposure, Better Call Saul, The Big Bang Theory and now I'm down to the last episode of Seinfeld. What am I going to watch next? HELP ME. And btw, my ratings on Goodreads are still stuck at 199!

Twitter Horror Writer's Lounge 1 - Curing Brian

Image
I've joined a group of Horror writers on Twitter and this is my first tweet to them. 'My stories tend to be dark rather than horrify but here's my attempt at a zombie story. In my view all horror writers should write at least one. Read by the inimitable Chris Heron at #TalltaleTV '   Link to Tall Tale TV

A detailed and perceptive review of 'Chronoscape' by reader Jan Hansen

Image
Link to Chronoscape on Amazon Time. And again. I love it! Ley produces a riveting narrative in this book. It manages to be fairly straight forward, while being riddled with complexities of choice and events. There is so much at play, I really enjoyed taking the time to listen again. having said that, this is not a "feel good novel". this is a no holds thriller. Chronoscape feels very "un-hollywood", in fact it feels almost indie-British, which is one of my favourite aspects of the book. It is not a spectacle of superintelligence and base evil. It isn't even Star Trekky in its weird timeline but ultimately "good will prevail" mumbo jumbo. Actions have irrevocable consequences in THIS reality. and boy do they take actions. I think (without having a scientific clue, really) that causality, temporal mechanics and the genesis (and long term application) of "time-meddling" are excellently and logically rationalized. it makes sense and offers an i...

The Riley posts - The only known picture of Dr Martin Riley on this timeline

Image
The only known picture of Martin Riley, the inventor of Temporal Messaging. I found this on one of the pen drives he gave me when he asked me to write about his invention, which I did in my book 'Chronoscape.' Temporal Messaging has been kept very secret on his home timeline and my guess is that he wanted to be famous somewhere. I also think that he chose me to write about his invention because I've published a variety of books and stories and I'm also technically literate. This is my last post on this subject. If you want to know the whole story check out 'Chronoscape' (note spelling) on Amazon, Kindle Unlimited or Audible.  At Riley's request I've priced the book as low as I'm allowed. The Riley posts - A modified fly used as a drone - Quantum electronics allow MI6 and the CIA to use fly drones for surveillance from the mid 2040s

Image
A fly with an enlarged thorax. A quantum electronics pack has been inserted during the pupal stage, when insects exists as a biological stew. Millions of control connections are automatically made as it develops into an adult. This allows it to be externally controlled. The adult fly becomes an almost perfect surveillance device when flown remotely by a trained VR drone pilot. This technology isn't currently available but according to Dr Riley's notes fly drones come into secret use by MI6 and the CIA in the 2040s.  Fly drones are cheap, easy to produce, and very effective.  Below is a link to the 'Everything Imaginable' podcast where Gary Cocciolillo interviews me about my involvement with Dr Riley and his invention of Temporal Messaging.  Link to Everything Imaginable

The Riley posts - CIA headquarters Langley - The US Government took over the Temporal Messaging project and set up the laboratory here

Image
The CIA headquarters at Langley. The Temporal Messaging team were moved here when the British Government could no longer afford to fund the project. On Riley's timeline the American Government made an early Temporal Adjustment and prevented the 9/11 atrocity by arresting the terrorist pilots and deporting them two weeks before the incident happened.  Below is a link to the MindDogTV podcast where Matt Nappo interviews me about Martin Riley and Temporal Messaging. The first three minutes are adverts which you can jump over if you wish. Link to Minddog TV

The Riley posts - Sizewell B nuclear power station - The second major Temporal Adjustment made by the UK Government

Image
Sizewell B nuclear power station in Suffolk UK, where the British Government was forced to reverse the effects of a terrorist attack by making a Temporal Adjustment. The incident is dealt with in detail in Chapter 9 of 'Chronoscape.' This was the second significant intervention made before Martin Riley's Temporal Messaging project was taken over by the US Government and moved to Langley.  Below is a link to the 'Everything Imaginable' podcast where Gary Cocciolillo interviews me about my involvement with Dr Riley and his invention of Temporal Messaging.  Link to 'Everything Imaginable'

The Riley posts - Martelsham Heath - The Temporal Messaging laboratory

Image
This is the Martlesham Heath complex in Suffolk, UK, an outstation  of the British Government's secret  intelligence gathering network GCHQ. It was here that Dr Riley's Temporal Messaging team were given laboratory space in the 1990s and it was here that the first successful experiments enabled the early Temporal Adjustments to be made on Martin Riley's timeline. The adjustments were minor at this stage and generally targeted at preventing crime but later more radical political adjustments would be made, particularly after the US Government took over the technology. Below is a link to the 'Everything Imaginable' podcast where Gary Cocciolillo interviews me about my involvement with Dr Riley and his request that I write 'Chronoscape.'  Link to Everything Imaginable

The Riley posts - Martin Riley's job at CERN

Image
An interesting view of the Low Energy Anti proton Ring at CERN courtesy Latente Flickr. This was the project that Martin Riley was originally working on before his team from Cambridge University invented Temporal Messaging which allowed the British and American Governments to change events on the Timeline. Temporal Adjustments as they call them. The Riley posts - Drama on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge

Image
A view of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge which is mentioned in the prologue to 'Chronoscape.' Here the Commonwealth risked a Temporal Adjustment to extract Martin Riley from his Timeline because they had need of his talents. According to Riley this adjustment was not visible to either the US or UK Governments. The Riley posts - First meeting at the Angel Hotel

Image
This is the Angel Hotel in Halesworth, Suffolk, UK, where I was first approached by Martin Riley in 2015. He claimed to have invented Temporal Messaging and wanted me to write his story. The Riley posts - Temporal Messaging - Time travel revisited

Image
Temporal Messaging is a technology that allows the Government to send information back through time. Not people, just information, like newspaper stories, like terrorist atrocities, like reports of assassinations. Then they can stop them if they wish.  It's been going on since Dr Martin Riley invented the process in the early 1990's. There's a group of people at Langley trawling for useful information and a Government committee that decides what to send back.  They're altering our Timeline and we don't even know it. This is a link to the minddogTV podcast where Matt Nappo interviews me about Temporal Messaging. We talk about how Martin Riley first made contact with me and how he encouraged me to write about TM. The first three minutes are adverts which you can jump over if you wish. Link to Minddog TV
